The White Hart is a privately owned family run free house and restaurant offering good quality wines, ales and spirits combined with a menu, of locally sourced and selected food. The menu consists predominantly of traditional home cooked food with a specials board offering further choices that may be in season. The menu is designed to suit all tastes and budgets. Please be aware that all food is freshly cooked to order.

Great Pub In The Beautiful Battle Countryside

The gardens and local area are a haven for wildlife and frequent visitors include robins, wrens, blackbirds, barn owls, tawny owls, finches, numerous butterflies and our most popular visitors, roe deer. Slowly the gardens are becoming established with many unusual plant specimens being grown including a large specimen of the Australian Tree fern Dicksonia Antarctica, and the giant Echium piniana from the Canary islands (if you would like seeds or a cutting of a particular plant in the garden then please ask and we will try and accommodate requests where possible). The gardens also contain children’s play area, and BBQ area which is popular on summer evenings.
